Plain English. This is not a lawyer letter. If you need one, hire one. Using NoSpeaky means you accept this.
What this product is
NoSpeaky is a personal viewing aid. You paste a public link. We fetch it, write captions of the speech, and can translate those captions into another language for you to read on the player. You can download an .srt for yourself.
We do not sell the source video. We do not claim we own it. We do not re-dub or replace the original audio. We do not run a subtitle file-sharing site.
Your job
- Only paste links you are allowed to use
- Use the captions for personal viewing, study, or accessibility — not to publish, sell, or host the video or a dubbed copy
- Do not paste private, paywalled, stolen, or login-only media
- You are responsible for the link you submit
Our job
- We fetch the public URL, hear speech, write captions, then drop the job after a short time
- We do not keep a library of other people’s films
- Free beta is short clips, one worker, a visible queue. No unlimited length
- We can refuse, rate-limit, or delete a job
Copyright
The video stays whoever already owns it. Captions we generate are a by-product of your request, for your player. If you redistribute the video, a dubbed soundtrack, or a caption file as a public copy of someone else’s work, that is on you.

No warranty
Beta. Captions will be wrong sometimes. YouTube often fails. The box can queue or go down. We are not liable for missed meaning, takedowns, or what you do with a file you download.
Money
Public use is free during beta. No card. If Pro or metered billing starts, we will say so on the site first. Turning paid features on is a separate step.
